Per DOT 49CFR Part 40 whenever a Collector performs a collection that has been rejected by the lab (Fatal Flaw) you must perform Error Collection Training within 30 days of being notified by the lab. You must perform Error free mocks. You will perform 1 Uneventful Collection and 2 Collections in the area of which the error had occured. You will also be trained on what steps to take in order to not make a fatal error during collection. After completion of this training you will get a Certificate to submit to the lab to resume collections. Failure to do so will cause the lab to stop your collections and report your business to the FMCSA clearing house.
